California

Studying at Seven Peaks. A took a few breaks here during finals week.
Spring semester is over and Chris and I have our first break from school since we've met, let alone have gotten married! C-R-A-Z-Y. I was supposed to take the GRE on the Friday after spring finals but due to maiden vs. married name complications I had to reschedule it for July 9th. At the spur of the moment on Thursday night we decided to leave and drove through the night and got to Chris's house at 6:30 in the morning. All of his family was in town for the houseboat trip that started on Sunday. Let the fun begin!

The brothers getting ready for a crazy tube ride.

Definitely was a crazy one!

Rob, the drive gone mad.

Me n' my honey

Chris gettin some air on the wakeboard--this was the best I could get with our slow camera
My body always hurts after getting to the Bell's house. In the first day we waterskiied, played tennis, and had fun in the pool. Next up was the houseboat trip that was full laziness and boating on Don Pedro lake. I read all 3 Hunger Games books and they were AWESOME. Make sure you have plenty of time to read when you start these books because they're impossible to put down once you start! Chris made 36 mph on the waterskiing course and I tried wakeskating. I'm still working on the waterskiing course and Chris promised me $100 for shopping in Vegas if I get it this summer! Woo!
Now I'm home sick with the stomach flu. Yuck. Yesterday was the first day at my new job as office assistant to the head of Tulare County's superior court. I lasted an hour and a half and went home sick and threw up for the rest of the day. A great start. I can go back tomorrow but am taking Friday off so Chris and I can go to Six Flags with Jeremy Cleek and his girlfriend Heather who are in town for the week. (It helps that LaRayne Cleek, Jeremy's mom, is my boss). Chris and I are going to try to go onto L.A. for the weekend so we can hit the beach and I would love to see all of the sites there! I'll cross my fingers :)
