Now that Chris is gone I did a date night with some of the other interns who are also my only friends :). We caught a movie, went for a hike up to Stuart Falls and then got J-Dawgs. I am going to miss these girls so much when our internship is over!

Picnic
Since it was our last weekend together before Chris left for California we made the most of it! When I came home he surprised me with these gorgeous flowers and then we took off to some mysterious place...
He took me on a picnic up at Bridalveil Falls! We had a picnic here the weekend he flew in to visit me while we were dating so it is a special spot for us.
It seriously was the most beautiful and perfect spring day!
Orange Chicken and Walnut Shrimp from Panda Express--my favorite!
After we went to the Riverwoods and burned out our noses trying to pick out new candles for our living room--didn't think it was such a life changing decision that would take an hour to make...
We finished off the day with some tennis at the park and Adam and Kamela's wedding reception where Chris was one of the groomsmen.

Graduation 2013
I always love graduation week because it is a non-stop party that we selfishly get to spend alone with our parents. We had fantastic food at Zupas, Kneaders, Malawi's Pizza, Chef's Table, and Tucanos. To top it off we also had a great ski day at Snowbird and a round of golf. Like I said, a non-stop party!
It's surreal that we are both done with BYU and moving onto the next adventure...Miami here we come!

Our Ski Season
We had a great ski season and had a lot of fun days together (over 10 total!). My favorite was the day I ditched my internship and Chris ditched his classes and we had the perfect Tuesday on the mountain.
Fun Dinners at Mariposa and Adolf's in Park City
We also had a chance to go with Chris's family and their friends. That weekend was also the men's World Cup Mogul event. So awesome to watch!

Spring Break
I flew out to Carbondale, Illinois to see my sister Kristin and her cute family! She picked me up in St. Louis where we had lunch and did a bit of shopping. It was a great weekend and I had so much fun spending time with the girls and seeing Kristin and Jason again!
I sat as the copilot in this tiny plane! It was my connection to St. Louis.

Maroon 5 Concert
Chris and I were really wanting to do some kind of trip together over Christmas break but couldn't find anything that would fit the budget so we gave up until...
I found tickets to the Maroon 5 concert on the 29th in Vegas! So I bought the tickets with Christmas money from my parents and booked a hotel on the strip through Hotwire then wrapped it all up maroon wrapping paper that I covered in fives with a sharpie. The Christmas morning surprise was pretty great and the little getaway was absolutely a-mazing!
Checking out the strip while we enjoyed our frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity III
Polar Bears made out of carnations
Maroon 5 is just as good live as they are on their albums.
My crush on Adam Levine only quadrupled 10 times.
The best part was dancing and singing along to all the songs (minus the actual version of Payphone...the radio is much better for that one) with Chris and making those fun memories.
The next morning we decided to do brunch at Caesar's palace but about choked when we heard the cashier asking us to hand over $100. So, instead we found a nearby Carl's Jr. with a homeless man sleeping in the bathroom and had a perfectly satisfying breakfast for a tenth of the price. I don't mind being a poor student at times like these, especially after what we were able to do the night before (and it makes for good stories for our kids right?). It was really a perfect way to end 2012.
