It's the Holiday Season...
The crazy snow we got in November!
Figure Skating Northwest Regionals

Thanksgiving
Deer Valley, Park City
Turkey Bowl!
Dad the Master Chef
Trip to Temple Square and City Creek to see the lights
Thanksgiving was so fun, especially since Kelsey and Dave could come out! Dad announced that he and mom will probably be serving a mission next summer. Lets just say it added a lot more excitement and tears to the dinner than we've had in years past. It's so exciting but hard to let them go! I feel to young to have parents serving a mission but those are the sacrifices that bring the most blessings right? Their faithfulness and obedience is just one of the many things I have to be thankful for this year.

Christmas
Deer Valley, Park City
This is why Deer Valley trumps all ski resorts
Snow coming over the top of Daly Bowl
Chocolate house that I made with the kids
(actually this one was my version to suit the perfectionista in me)
Michael got Chris a new board game
Christmas Eve
Just one my many fantastic gifts!
The whole Bell family! Pretty amazing that EVERYONE could make it!
Christmas morning
Surprise! Tickets to Maroon 5 in Vegas complete with a hotel on the strip
Our Christmas was filled with LOTS of skiing, good movies, yummy food and relaxation. I really loved spending time up in Park City and getting to know Chris's family better. They sure know how to spoil us and we appreciate it so much!

Pumpkin Carving: Continuing the Tradition
This has been the third year that all the family in Utah has gotten together for FHE to carve pumpkins. Its so sad to think that this will be the last time we can do this all together. Chris and I are in our last year in Utah. Who knows where we will be a year from now?!
Skinny girl cupcakes I made = AMAZING
Michael and Nicholas testing out my new Romney-Ryan t-shirt Chris's mom sent me. They could be used as the example that gay men support Romney for President.
Best quote of the night:
"My dad is gay?!" -coming from a 6 year-old who has no idea what that means
Braden and I teamed and carved a pumpkin together. He was a proud boy.
Our final products!
Of course Chris showed everyone up again with his mad carving skills...
Happy Halloween!

Its a Beautiful Day
We love the Stuart Falls hike in the fall. It's right above Sundance and an absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL way to enjoy the last remnants of the season. Although I'm pretty sure Chris's favorite view was the Ferrari in the parking lot.
Look at that blue sky!

The City of Brotherly Love
This was my first year to go to the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo.
All 8 interns flew out together and had a really great trip!
It overlapped with General Conference (so depressing!) but at least Chris and I were able to pick mom and dad up at the airport on Thursday night and go to dinner at City Creek.
It was bittersweet to see them for such a short night.
We got into our hotel super late and had the next morning to explore the city.
Liberty Bell!
(Independence Hall in the background)
Where the Declaration of Independence was signed
One of my best friends Emma met up with us from Boston (she's doing her internship at Mass Gen).
Her and I dragged everyone down to the ghetto of Philly to have the genuine Philly cheese steak experience!
So worth the trip.
Emma had her own room at the Marriott a block away from the conference center so I kept her company there for a few nights. It was so great catching up and having that time together. I have missed her like crazy!
Swag from the expo (one day's worth). I love my career!
Paula Dean did a healthy cooking demo and talked about her diabetes.
She is hilarious!
She is hilarious!
(Did I mention I love my career choice?)
Our professors also treated us to dinner one night.
Its fun having the dynamic change since we have been interns vs. when we were students in the program.
I was also gone over Chris and I's 2-year anniversary so we celebrated when I got back by going to the Chef's Table for dinner after my clinical case study presentation. It was a great trip minus the timing of it all :(
