I Left My Heart...

...In San Francisco!!

I have been dying to see Les Miserables and it happened to be playing in San Francisco! Chris and I decided to make a fun weekend trip out of it. We stayed in Pleasanton to save money on the hotel and took the BART line into the city. After my ear surgery on Friday afternoon and some dinner at Fuggazzi's with Rob and Scott we were off!

Chris, my personal surgical assistant, was kind enough to video the embarrassing things I said while under anesthesia and snapped a few pictures. My earlobe tore from wearing big earrings and tugs from little hands so Rob was nice enough to stitch it back up!
We the most PERFECT day that was sunny and warm. Since it was my first trip into the city we hit the major tourist spots and walked hill after hill. The shopping at Westfield mall (we're talking Bloomingdales Nordstrom, H&M, Michael Kors, Juicy Couture, Anthro, and hundreds of other stores all under one roof!) was one of the highlights of my day for sure.

Look at that blue sky!

Chris's family met up with us in the evening for the play and we ate dinner at ANZU. Unfortunately the service was slow so we had about 10 minutes to eat our absolutely *fabulous* food and then threw all dignity to the wind and took off in a sprint to the theater. We made it with 5 minutes to spare.

Les Miserables was truly phenomenal and we LOVED it.
My favorite part of seeing musicals are all the songs sung throughout the house during the following weeks...so fun :)

Until next time San Fran...
