Goodbye 2011...

As we celebrated bringing in the New Year at the Zermatt Resort in Midway with Chris's family, I was thinking a lot about 2011 and what a good year it was to us. Chris and I had a ton of fun and grew so much as a couple as we experienced our first year of marriage. These were the highlights we came up with together in no particular order:

*Welcoming 2011 on our cruise to Mexico

*Trip to Zion's in May

*Moving to California for the summer

*Kerri became a plasma donor

*Seeing Wicked, Spider Man, and Mary Poppins on Broadway

*Kerri completed the professional water ski course for the first time

*Chris didn't get a single speeding ticket

*Spending April General Conference with both of our families

*Chris discovered his new favorite dish: Chipotle Chicken Pasta from The Cheesecake Factory

*We had a fabulous first anniversary in Las Vegas

*We were set apart as temple workers for the Provo temple

*Bell Houseboat trip in June

*Discovering the Cocoa Bean in Provo 

*Chris went to Panama for 10 days

*Trip to L.A. and fantasy shopping on Rodeo Drive

*Skiing at Deer Valley--best snow year ever

*Bell family trip to New York--Chris's first time

*Biking and hiking in Yosemite

*Each of us raced on the drag strip in Chris's BMW...we got smoked but it was still a rush :)

*Kerri's sisters' trip to New York

*Spending 10 days in Montana over winter break

Things to Come in 2012...

We are Excited For:

*Kerri running a half marathon in May

*Kerri's graduation in April--woo hoo!

*Chris taking the DAT in May and applying to dental school

*Chris's graduation in December

*City Creek mall opening in Salt Lake! Yay! (Obviously Chris is the one who thought of this ;)

*Moving to California again in the summer

*Continuing to work as temple workers

Our Goals:

*Acceptance into an internship at BYU or Utah State (Kerri)

*Acceptance into dental school, particularly in California (Chris)

*Have faith and trust in the Lord no matter what happens!

*Get zero speeding tickets

*Remember every family members' birthdays (which is ALOT)

*Put others first, always

Wishes for 2012:

*Spend a weekend in San Diego and go through the temple there

*A trip to Hawaii (ha! yeah right!)

*"To be awesome. The end." (according to Chris)
