Temple Workers

Did I ever mention that Chris and I began working in the Provo temple every Friday night? Well we did back in December. It's a big time commitment and hard to rush there after work when it has been a long week but we feel like it is the best decision we could have made. We love the happiness and peace it has brought into our lives and the greater testimony of the temple we've gained. I really believe that my acceptance into the BYU internship was a direct blessing from serving in the temple and that the Lord will continue bless our lives over the next few months. I have such a calm mind about dental school applications and know that we are well taken care of. To say that I am humbled by everything we have received and continue to receive is an understatement.

Last week we both gave talks on temple work in Sacrament meeting and spoke on our experiences. The bishop told us this afternoon that after we spoke 11 people in our ward approached him about becoming temple workers as well. That made us feel pretty good.

We also have a tradition of going to the Cocoa Bean afterwards for frappes, imported hot chocolate, steamies, and the most amazing gourmet cupcakes. Going there is just the cherry on top of the great experiences we have every week. Love it and love our life.
